Winter Hummer!!!!!

I have been putting out my hummingbird feeders each day....have to thaw them out, but there is this guy who keeps hanging on through the sleet and the snow....sometimes he sits on a high branch of the curly willow and just 'chip chip chips'....I'm sure he's looking for a friend....poor little guy!!!!!

Well Goodness!!!! We have lots of snow here today.....and it's still falling....The kids school got cancelled, but we're snug as a bug in a rug!!!! it's really nice to just sit back and look outside...and enjoy being cozy and warm, with no reason to get out onto the roads and freeways....what a mess there is out there....I-5 going north is closed right now...boy I feel for those truckers that got stuck out on the freeway...I think I'll go do a little knitting, and catch up on laundry - just in case we loose power!!!!!

MOON November 29th 2008

Oh man, the moon was glorious the other night...just a crescent, but still...after being in the fog for several weeks, it just felt like the sky opened up and gave up some color. It was also a chance for me to keep learning how to shoot twilight shots with my Rebel XT. We're back in the cold clammy fog, while most of Oregon has bright sunny days....

I'll tell you what...when the sun finally shows itself, I'm going to really enjoy it!!!!
