Shetland Yarn

This is some yarn that I spun, using Shetland Sheep (brown) roving that I bought from Cindie Kitchin of Eweniquely Ewe Fibers in Grants Pass, Oregon ...It could be used for some killer socks, but I'm not a sock knitter....so I'm sure it will find it's way into a saddle blanket or a rug...

Hooded Merganser and Partial Albino Robin

This winter has been icy cold...for a long while we had no rain. Then one night it poured...filling up our pond that had dried out, and making the winter creek run. Luckily it brought in some beautiful water birds...Canada Geese, Mallards, Wood Ducks and this Hooded Merganser.
