SPRING BREAK

just a few of the pix I took at the beach when we all went over for Spring Break this year. The kids had a really great time, and as you can see there was sunshine...well sort of....it was warm enough to walk on the beach and throw the football...there was rock hounding, rock climbing, a birthday dinner at the mexican restaurant and too many late nights. I'm getting OLD!!!!

TRACK AND FIELD this week with my boys!

This is my youngest son...he is the tallest in the family at 6 foot 2...wow! He took FIRST in the frosh/soph Javelin event this week!!!!! Wow!!! Way to go!!!!!

My oldest son long jumping...First time he's long jumped since middle school, and he didn't even get to practice this jump once in track practice at his school...I think he took 9th out of a bunch of schools...pretty darned good. They had winter training this year, and it sure did help his progress once track practice finally started.

Here he is at the starting block of the 4 X 100 relay race. He obviously is the first leg, but he blew by the competition, he was also part of a 4 X 200 relay race and they won this event easily. There is a great group of athletes this year!

Special Hat!!!!

So...Here is my special hat made for my special friend Nancy, who I've known since we were wee ones!!!! We are now in our 50's....hah!!!! Doesn't it look cute on her!!!!! or maybe she's just so darned cute that it makes the hat look good??!!!! Anyway...she was out on one of her adventures with her dog (on the left) and her dogs' best pal...(Saint Bernard), and she smiled for the camera, and sent me off this shot, so I could add it to my blog!!!! Thanks Nanc!!!!!!
