I was lucky enough to be at the right place, at the right time the other day...sitting on my yaw yaw in the office and I saw movement out of the corner of my eye, I grabbed my camera and went right out the front door...ever so slowly to get the shots...it was a hummer baby getting lessons from it's mum and also getting fed a bit too....so cool...learning how to hover, but most of the time hanging onto the flowers and leaves with it's toes!!!!
Baby is on the left, mum on the right

ReplyDeleteWow--how do you get such wonderful photographs. You are good!
ReplyDeleteI am so stinkin jealous of the shots you get to take : ) I love the hummingbirds ! Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteThank you Ari....I have found that the more time you are outside the better chance you'll have for getting that lifetime shot! I have seen lots of things without my camera in hand, with regret! On the way to work yesterday there was this mist across a farm pasture with the sun coming through and the giant irrigation sprinklers sitting quiet for the season...I had the camera, but no time to stop....dang!
