and here...is a little knit/felted purse I made for my sister's grand-daughter...isn't it darling...the red button has a little girl stick figure on it...I think she will love this for Christmas...!!! 

Here is a purse that I knit and felted with my handspun. the picture doesn't really show the colors quite right...it's more subdued than this.

Here is the Metolius River. Most of this river is a fly fishing only river. It is catch and release with a barbless hook...I did not try my hand at it this time, but would love to go back and see if I can still flyfish...It's a really beautiful area! 

Here is a side shot of the cabin that we stayed in. It was very beautiful inside and out, and in a really peaceful setting. I got lots of knitting done on that front porch! 

Here are two of the Three Sisters mountain range. This photo was taken from Dee Wright Observatory on the McKenzie Pass. 

This is Lower Proxy Falls. We hiked in to lower and upper Proxy falls on our central oregon vacation. It was so beautiful there and a great way to beat the heat! 

At shore Acres there is a green house. In it are beautiful plants such as the begonias pictured here.  

Here are some lilypads on a different part of the pond...The flowers were wonderful...some white some pink. 

Here is a picture of the rugged coast line here at shore Acres. In the past we have seen seals on the rocks below and also nesting shorebirds. 

Here is a small area of a beautiful pond at Shore Acres. If you look closely you will see a pagoda and statues of Great Blue Herons coming out of the water...It's got a very peaceful asian feeling about it. The big firs in the background are at the top of a cliff overlooking the coast.

There is a beautiful Rock Rose planted in the flower island right before you get to the house. They do well in Southern Oregon and thrive without too much water. 

Periwinkle colored dyed Romney. This is some Romney I had lying around from a bump that I spun up last year...I decided to spin it up and who knows what I'll use it for...it's quite pretty though. 

Here is May-ble...She was born on saturday to our cow named "Bossy"...Isn't she a doll?

Here is an Iris from our yard. We finally have some sunshine in Southern Oregon and the flowers are blooming. 

This is the seasonal creek that separates the two acreages. It is usually not flowing much by now, but we have had a good number of rainy days this spring. 

Here is another shot of them...the llama is the lighter greyish brown one in the center...He has been here since we started our small farm...He was a rescue and is very kind and friendly to man and beast. 

Here are the alpacas and lone llama over by the old sheep and goat barn...the grass is getting so long...even with the six of them, they are not keeping it "mowed"! 

California Poppies...These grow Wild...aren't they beautiful??? 

Here are Kufa and Raudka...We had a small foundering problem with Kufa a few weeks ago...we had the farrier out to trim hooves, then took her off the grass/alfalfa hay we were giving her...(too rich) and just gave her poor quality grass hay, and haven't let them into any new pastures...with all the rain the grass has grown long and lush!!! Too much food for Icelandic Horses!!!!
