We had strange clouds last week the day before the big storm blew through southern oregon...I got some pix of them in the evening.

Isn't Butterscotch a beautiful filly!!! She is getting so big....she always comes to me when I call to her. She loves to learn and is learning to pick up her feet for me, so I can clean her hooves. I let ZuZu, The Arab and her out into a pasture yesterday filled with chamomile and beautiful flowering weeds. They had a wonderful time walking knee high through the tall weeds and grass, and filling thier bellies!
'Clematis' in bloom....lovely huh? I have three different kinds growing in one of my flower areas and this one was the first to pop! The next plant is full of buds...and I'll bet it opens up today...smaller blooms and mostly white...and then there is my deep purple one...I can't wait to see it too!
Clematis (from Ancient Greek klematis, a climbing plant, is a genus of mostly vigorous climbing lianas, with attractive flowers. Some species are shrubby, and some others are herbaceous perennial plants. They are found throughout the temperate regions of both hemispheres, and also in mountains in the tropics. The cool temperate species are deciduous, but many of the warmer climate species are evergreen. Wikipedia
