Well my vacation over to the cabin is over, and it was a beautiful trip!!!! I got to help out with the Big Loop Contest last thursday at the Bull Sale in Klamath Falls. John and Jerri Hyde got it all organized and a few of us...their friends, volunteered to run the stop watches and keep score in the timed Cowboy event. I didn't take one picture at the event center...can you believe it??!!!!

I was just watching the beautiful horses and how hard the cowboys worked and played and it was such a busy day for me, that the camera never even crossed my mind! :-)

The next day was the Ranch Horse sifting, and I was trying to knit and watch the horses, and I just felt so exhausted...I left really early to go back to the cabin, and thought I couldn't even drive that far, I was so tired. I have no idea what was wrong with me, but I just went back, filled up the wood stove and crashed...I slept and slept. I finished up knitting a new ear flapper hat, and wove on a saddle blanket and saturday and sunday I just hung out at the cabin reading and relaxing. I guess I needed that...There was a beautiful full Cowboy moon sunday night that I could barely see through the snow clouds...it snowed and left a light blanket on the deck and surrounding grounds...Monday it dawned bright and clear as the sun came over the ridge and reflected off of the Williamson River. That has got to be my favorite time of day there...the geese are all talking to each other and the birds come into my seed feeders. I shot a few pictures and hiked around outside a bit....then it was time to hit the road and come back home to reality...hah!!!! I sure did enjoy my stay though and I really am looking forward to Spring.
