Our sons' girlfriend moving teenage chickies into their new hen hutch~
Here they are....Aren't they ugly? well not as cute as they were as little chickies! But that is okay. They are still little, but growing wings. They can fly off of the ground about 8 inches!
Here are the teenaged kids repairing the chain that holds the roof of the hen hutch to the box of the frame.
Here is my husband and youngest son carrying the hen hutch back into the barn, so the chickies will be protected from the coons, cats and any other animal that might want to gobble them down. We are also still experiencing really cold nights so the shelter of the barn coupled with a few heat lamps will keep them cozy :-)
