CRATER LAKE

Well gosh....where do i start? The last few weeks have just screamed by...whew! My brain is so full of new and wonderful facts that it's about to explode!!!!! Working at a National Park might be one of the most awesome things in the world to do...but trying to jump start my brain after 20 years has been interesting. I spent many days feeling anxious and many nights unable to sleep, hoping I would do everything just right! The last two days have been my favorite, just because I had to really dig deep and lean on myself - trusting that I would be able to handle any situation with a smile on my face - hoping that each person coming in to the park wouldn't realize that I WAS A NEWBIE!!!!! :-) Whew! I'm sure I didn't do everything quite right, but the only way is UP and Forward...

Next week I will get to learn even MORE new stuff, and hopefully my brain won't hit a brick wall and just quit running....sort of like a hard drive failure...SNORT! The people I work with and for are amazing smarties and I am thankful they've all been so helpful to me. Returning workers have given inspiring presentations and it makes me proud to be able to work some place that people travel far and wide to get to!!!!

So....just a quick up date and a few pictures....more to follow in the weeks ahead, because apparently we will be getting DSL soon and I will be able to post from the lake!
